Privacy

Wedding cards carry family details and guest information. This page explains what we collect, why, and the control you have over it.

What we collect

  • Your Google account name, email address and profile photo, used to sign you in.
  • The details you add to a card: names, family lines, event times, venues and messages.
  • Your purchases: the design, amount and payment reference. Card and UPI details are handled by Razorpay and never reach our servers.
  • Basic technical data such as a keyed hash of your IP address, used only to prevent abuse and rate limit requests.

How we use it

We use your information to run your account, save and publish your cards, and keep the service secure. We do not sell personal data, and we do not use your guests' information for marketing.

Who can see your card

A draft is visible only to you. A published card can be opened by anyone with its link, is not listed anywhere on Invitica, and asks search engines not to index it. You can unpublish a card at any time.

How long we keep it

Published cards stay live for one year after their last event and are then archived. Purchase records are kept as required for tax and accounting.

Your choices

You can edit or unpublish your cards from your dashboard, and ask us to export or delete your account and its data. We respond to requests in line with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
